Piastri took the lead in the final running of the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, but was passed by Verstappen in a move into the Tamburello chicane in the race’s final laps. Norris recovered from a poor qualifying to finish sixth, while Leclerc struggled with a mechanical issue and was dropped down to 14th. Mercedes-Benz finished seventh in the race, with Hamilton, Leclerc and Doohan all scoring points.
